New Bluetooth Chipset Targets High-end Handsets, Headsets

One of the leading players in the Bluetooth manufacturing world CSR has launched its BlueCore5 single-chip solution targeted at emerging applications such as converged handsets and high-end headsets. All versions of the BlueCore5-FM chip family support WiFi and Bluetooth feature up to 32 Mbits of external flash memory. The chips will be going into mass production during the first quarter of 2006.
